About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. The role is responsible for ensuring safety regulations and policies are adhered to, conducting preventative maintenance on time to a high standard, and providing high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Role model health & safety best practices and monitor those around you to ensure they follow the example you set.
* Work in a hands-on manner and demonstrate SME (Subject Matter Expert) levels of knowledge on all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) in the building.
* Coach and mentor the technicians on shift.
* Support the line manager and supervise the shift in their absence.
* Provide high levels of equipment availability to our internal customers by means of troubleshooting and prioritizing.
* Support continuous improvement of systems in a standard manner across the EU network.
* Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
* Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.
* Management of contractors.
Requirements
* Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ level 3
* Relevant experience in a technical leadership role
* Relevant experience working in both electrical and mechanical disciplines
* Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written local language and basic proficiency in English
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in a multi-contractor and multi-site working environment
* Understanding of PLC based controls systems and statutory compliance requirements
* Experience using computerised maintenance management systems to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks
* A degree preferably in a technical discipline, operations, or business administration
