Managing Surveyor Major Works 37 Hours Per Week Circa 59,000 per annum Are you an experienced surveyor looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Managing Surveyor to lead the delivery of major projects and oversee a diverse range of building surveying workstreams and land management activities. You will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, cost effective project execution, and positive outcomes for our customers. You will drive Saxon Weald s approach to damp and mould management, aids & adaptations, property disrepair, mutual exchanges, and surveying functions, with a focus on Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS) compliance, and others that will lead to customer satisfaction. As a leader, you will inspire and support your team to achieve excellence in customer service and contribute to achieving our purpose through data-led decision-making. To be successful in this role you will need to: Possess strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including the Decent Homes Standard, Consumer Regulations, and sustainability initiatives such as EPC ratings, net-zero carbon goals. Have demonstrable experience working in asset management, building surveying, and have knowledge of sustainability within the housing or property sector. Have a thorough understanding of CDM regulations, Section 20 Notices, and their application to major works. Be skilled in using stock condition data and digital tools to drive informed, strategic decisions. Exhibit strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team of surveyors and lead cross-functional projects effectively. Be skilled in using digital systems to monitor, report on, and drive efficiencies in key projects, supported by strong analytical and data management capabilities. Have exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience fostering cross-departmental collaboration and driving engagement. Be prepared to study for a professional housing qualification if required by legislation. Have a full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
