You’ll be responsible for retaining and nurturing client relationships to generate new business opportunities and identifying new leads. Your role is key to creating additional revenue from current and new clients to support the business strategy for growth into commercial sectors. You’ll play an integral part in developing and executing the sales and business development plan, meeting KPIs and being a brand ambassador for TLC. What you will be doing in this roleYou'll work closely with the Senior Business Development Manager to develop and work on an agreed Sales and Business Development Plan for all key areas of the business in order to meet, if not exceed, all sales targets. You'll research new opportunities and actively generating leads via activities such as cross selling, networking and exhibitions. You'll manage all client relationships obtained. You'll make appointments for sales opportunities, attending meetings and preparing presentations and tenders to secure new business; where needed, support will be given. You'll utilise LinkedIn to target and build new relationships. You'll liaise with the Marketing Team to support on market and competitor research, presentation materials and collateral branding. You'll communicate and work collaboratively with all Divisional Heads of Departments to ensure the sales strategy for these areas remains focussed. What we are looking forYou’ll have at least 3 years’ experience in a Business Development / Account Management / Sales role with a solid understanding of ways to generate leads. You’ll have a proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding your sales targets.You’ll possess impeccable time management and organisation skills with a strong eye for detail to own your workload and deliver business plans. You’ll have the ability to confidently create and present tenders and pitches to secure new business.You’ll be proficient in Microsoft Office and database systems, keen to learn new software to enhance data analysis and communication. It would be helpful if you have experience of working with social media channels, but this is not essential.
