As a key member of our operations team, you'll have the chance to perform both routine and exciting non-routine testing assignments, ensuring timely and accurate results. While working under direct supervision, you'll gain hands-on experience and contribute to high-impact projects that support a variety of industries. At our Element Warwick Vibration and Climatic Testing Center of Excellence, you’ll play a vital role in testing cutting-edge products for leading customers in aerospace, transportation, space, energy, and defense. If you're ready to grow your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, we’d love to hear from you Prepares material specimens for testing Performs tests as directed by customer specifications At times operates under the supervision of a more senior test technician and/or a Department Manager Interacts periodically with customers Schedules internal calibration of equipment Gathers and records test data Constructs and maintains various test fixtures and other laboratory equipment to ensure proper working order with little supervision Working knowledge of laboratory safety preferred. A Levels in Mathematics required, preferred other STEM A Level or Technical Apprenticeships OR 5 years’ experience in a technically similar field (Aerospace, Defense, Rail, Space qualification testing). Possesses a demonstrated ability to apply training and knowledge within the context of Element’s business. Possess strong computer skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook or is open to learning.
