The Role of Modular Cabin Fitter: Reporting to the Regional Accommodation Manager and working at our Grangemouth Depot, our Cabin Fitters are responsible for all joinery work associated with cabins and furniture. In this role you will specialise in setting up our accommodation units to meet the requirements and specifications of our customers. Duties within this role include: Fit out, refurbish, and repair accommodation units according to drawings / standard layouts, using hand tools, power tools, saws, measuring instruments, and various equipment where trained to do so. Key Tasks: • Check stock and upcoming hires for accommodation requirements & carry out prep or maintenance as necessary. • Attend breakdowns where necessary and perform on site repairs and installations. • Perform demobilisations. • Assist in loading and unloading cabin equipment and accommodation units. • Service, repair and prepare cabins for hire. This includes painting, plumbing, joining, welding and electrical checks. • Pick materials as required and requisition the supervisor to order stock and raise purchase orders. • Complete job sheets and any other necessary paperwork. • Carry out any necessary welding and fabrication work.
