If so this exciting opportunity to have a positive influence on the future development of community nursing services could be for you As Clinical Practice Lead Nurse (Operations) you will be responsible for promoting excellence in the operational clinical practice of the community nursing teams across Derbyshire, cultivating matrix working within DCHS and with system partners, and planning initiatives to support the development of services to align with strategic direction. Main duties of the job The Clinical Practice Lead Nurse job involves representing the community nursing teams in transformation initiatives, both at local and system level so you will need to have a robust understanding of working within Community Nursing teams and the challenges and rewards this brings. You will oversee processes for ensuring standards of care, productivity and efficiency are sustained, identifying concerns and making improvements as required, including sharing lessons learned, workforce planning and service development. This involves working closely with colleagues across DCHS e.g. Quality and Professional Standards division, Operations Hub, and so networking and communication skills will be essential. This role also includes leadership and management of the Clinical Lead Nurses and Clinical Practice Facilitators who work with frontline clinicians to support competencies and implement service improvements so you will need to have line management experience. The job involves hybrid working with a significant proportion of your time working from home, whilst you will also need to travel to all sites across the trust to meet face to face with your team and frontline services as necessary. You will need to be comfortable working in a self directed way, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
