2nd Line Engineer Location: Macclesfield (Hybrid) Applause IT are recruiting for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join an innovative IT company in Macclesfield. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of clients, leveraging your technical expertise with Microsoft products, Windows and Mac operating systems, and network troubleshooting. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line support for both hardware and software issues, administering and troubleshooting Office 365 workloads such as Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams, and configuring mobile devices. You will also manage and resolve LAN/WAN issues and work with VoIP solutions. Key responsibilities: Troubleshooting client hardware/software faults. Managing Office 365 environments, including Exchange Online and SharePoint. Troubleshooting network issues (DNS, DHCP, IP addressing). Configuring mobile devices and VoIP systems.Skills required: 4 years in a technical role working with Microsoft products such as Intune. Experience with Windows and Mac client operating systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues. Experience in Microsoft Windows Server (2012 R2 onward). Strong knowledge of VoIP solutions and Office 365 administration.Desirable skills: Exposure to Microsoft Azure Services. MSP experience and knowledge of cyber security.
