Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, qualified G.I. Advanced Practice Radiographer. The post holder will work as part of the fluoroscopy service alongside the fluoroscopy G.I Lead and be a point of contact for the speciality. They will actively engage with all aspects of the service and continuously seek its improvement. They will assist with the day to day management within the department and hold a key position in the operational provision of the out of hours services, ensuring adequate resources are available to the staff who deliver it. The post holder will drive high radiographic standards and collaborate with key stake holders to ensure the service is fit for purpose and meeting all regulatory requirements. Main duties of the job To assist the fluoroscopy lead in the day to day management of the fluoroscopy team and be accountable for the designated area of work To plan and prioritise patient workload to meet the Trust's waiting list targets To work as part of the fluoroscopy team, delivering the fluoroscopy service and working to agreed protocols. To take part in the day to day clinical management of the fluoroscopy department. To work as part of the fluoroscopy advanced practice reporting service in collaboration with other advanced practitioners to ensure the service providers are working to agreed protocols within the Radiology Department. To participate in the justification of fluoroscopy examinations To adapt and quickly respond to changes in in service, patient or department needs.
