Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and hands-on support tailored to each student's needs. Assist with daily routines, including mobility, feeding, and hygiene. Encourage engagement in classroom and social activities. Promote emotional and sensory regulation through understanding and structured approaches. Work closely with teachers, SEN professionals, and therapists to implement individual education and care plans. Record observations and report any concerns following safeguarding guidelines. Requirements Experience in a care or support role, ideally within a school, healthcare, or SEN setting. A solid understanding of autism and related sensory or behavioural needs. Kindness, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A clear understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality standards.
