About the role
Join our dynamic Reward team Centre of Excellence (COE) as the Subject Matter Expert for Benefits and Pensions across the UK and Asia Pacific. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact, working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment to shape and manage our benefits and pensions offerings. Key Responsibilities include:
* Pension & Benefits Administration: Manage the day-to-day administration of company pension and benefits schemes across the UK and Asia Pacific.
* Health & Risk Programmes: Provide support for updates and changes to Health and Risk programmes in both regions.
* Employee Support: Serve as a point of escalation for employee benefits queries, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
* Vendor Collaboration: Work with third-party providers to introduce new products and improve or expand existing benefits offerings.
* Communication: Partner with the Communications Specialist to develop and deliver engaging materials for benefits communications.
* Stakeholder Advice: Provide expert guidance to People Teams on benefits-related matters.
* Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with Payroll, Communications, and Health & Wellbeing teams, as well as participate in cross-functional initiatives to enhance systems and streamline global processes.
* Market Insights: Stay informed about market trends, evaluate their suitability for Ocado, and provide relevant data and insights as required.
* Reporting & Analysis: Produce ad hoc reports and analyse data to monitor and improve benefits uptake.
What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented professional who brings the following skills and experiences:
* Strong proficiency in spreadsheets, with experience in Google Docs being an advantage.
* A sound understanding of benefits and pensions administration.
* Excellent written communication skills and experience managing stakeholders.
* Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
* Familiarity with HR systems and employee benefit platforms (e.g., Benefex).
* Experience working with external vendors and building positive working relationships.
* Experience delivering annual benefits cycles.
* Previous experience working with Payroll, Tax, and Finance teams.
* An ability to analyse and interpret data to support decision-making.
