We are seeking a Service Manager to manage 3 services within Southampton located across Bitterne, Bitterne Triangle, and Shirley, all of which have great access to local shops and amenities. There are around 9 support workers per service with 1 ASM across all 3 services. All of the services are within walking distance and close to local train stations too.
The people we support at these services enjoy swimming, theatre trips, shopping, pottery, cooking/baking, and are enrolled in different work experiences. The service is active, supporting individuals who have learning disabilities, autism, and mental health challenges; however, there are no physical disabilities involved.

The ideal Service Manager looks like this:
* Hold a Full UK driving license and have access to their own vehicle to ensure you can get between the services.
* Have a genuine desire to help, develop, and maintain high-quality service provision for the people we support in this service appropriate to their assessed needs.
* Work with the Senior Operations Manager and be the Registered Manager with CQC to deliver safe, high-quality services for the people supported.
* Have the skills and commitment to coaching and developing a team, with an emphasis on Practice Leadership to develop and align practice.
* Understand the balance between keeping the person safe and positive risk-taking.
* Deliver best practices based on Positive Behavioral Support principles, adopting Active Support, and delivering high-quality person-centered support.
* Hold a Level 5 diploma or equivalent experience.
* Able to look at budgets and financial information to support the service in remaining financially viable.
* Desirable to hold a valid driving license and have access to their own vehicle.
