AA Euro Group are recruiting on behalf of a specialist steel contractor responsible for delivering and erecting structural steel on a flagship infrastructure project in the UK and Europe. This is a critical position requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within demanding timelines. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution to completion, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and site teams. Key Responsibilities Project Leadership: Take full ownership of the project, managing schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals. Oversee the execution of steelworks, ensuring compliance with design specifications and contractual obligations. Team Management: Lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams, including site managers, engineers, and subcontractors. Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all teams and stakeholders. Programme and Budget Control: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress and addressing delays or risks proactively. Monitor project costs, ensuring financial targets are met and value is maximised. Health, Safety, and Quality: Uphold the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations and site protocols. Implement quality control measures to ensure all work meets project and client expectations. Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and clients on project status and performance. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans where necessary. Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience as a Project Manager in steel construction or large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of structural steelworks, construction methodologies, and industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Proficient in project management software and tools. Essential Requirements CSCS Card (Manager level). SMSTS Certificate (or equivalent). Degree or equivalent qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Experience managing large teams and multiple subcontractors. Desirable Skills Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects in collaboration with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of steel erection techniques and temporary works.
