So if you're passionate about motorcycles and looking to join a team that's shaping the future of this legendary brand, we'd love to hear from you The role We are looking for a Motorcycle Service Technician to help support our service department with conducting services and many other duties on our motorcycles, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. The role requires a proactive approach to customer service, technical expertise, and maintaining an organised, safe, and clean workshop environment. Duties/Responsibilities Perform routine service work on motorcycles brought into the workshop, following standard operating procedures. Remove, install, and replace motorcycle components as per the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications. Conduct thorough health checks on marketing and sales fleet motorcycles to identify and report any areas of concern. Prepare new motorcycles for sale or delivery, ensuring they meet all technical and safety standards. Carry out technical repairs according to documented processes, ensuring compliance with best practices. Record any identified faults on job cards and promptly communicate additional issues to the Workshop Lead that may affect timelines or scope of repairs. Accurately document work completed, including the recording of hours worked, parts, and materials used. Ensure that motorcycles meet safety standards before being released back to customers. Maintain cleanliness and protection of motorcycles during service and repair. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe at the end of each day. Personal Specification Motorcycle Technician Certification: Fully qualified to City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in motorcycle servicing and repairs. Proficient in spoken and written English, with the ability to explain technical information to customers clearly, courteously, and effectively. Strong desire to provide top-notch service to customers. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment, while also being self-motivated and flexible.
