To provide outstanding customer service to internal customers, providing technical support, fault diagnosis, and preparation of IT equipment to the club’s football department.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Drive interaction and progression of IT within the club’s sporting departments, based at the Training Ground.
* Be the link between the Sporting departments and the IT Department in terms of user support day-to-day.
* Provide face-to-face and remote technical support, responding to enquiries in-person, via telephone, email & online chat.
* Drive innovation and present new opportunities in IT which will enhance the day-to-day running of the sporting departments.
* Be present at the Training Ground to support and manage the on-site IT provision during first team training hours.
* Provide technical support for appropriate department Audio/Video equipment.
* Work with the Sporting and Facility departments on infrastructure projects requiring IT at the Training Ground. Provide technical expertise and assistance on project assignments as required.
* Formalise a protocol with the IT Department which ensures all sporting fixtures are serviced with IT support.
* Escalate critical and high priority tickets to line and senior management.
* Proactively contribute to service and user improvement initiatives.
* Build and configure IT equipment.
* Accurately update IT asset database.
* Support the IT Manager with specific project work.
* Any other duties specified by your line manager.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
* Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line IT support role or similar.
* Experience of both Windows and Mac operating systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
* Understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
* Experience with system administration tasks, including backups, restores, and performance monitoring.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
