Assistant Brand Manager - L'OR Portfolio
Job Description
The Assistant Brand Manager for L'OR is a key role on one of our highest profile brands and part of our UK-wide Marketing team.
You will be responsible for executing the L'OR ATL & BTL activations, delivering innovation and renovation projects, supporting in-store activations as well as supporting the development & execution of our annual brand plan. To ensure you have a good grounding in brand performance, you will also be actively involved in brand tracking and analysis, shaping insights and actions for growth.
Working closely with cross-functional teams both internally & externally, you’ll be exposed to the full marketing mix.
Key responsibilities
1. With support from the Category Manager & Category Lead, play a key role in developing and executing L'OR activations - ATL & BTL across TV, social, digital & shopper touchpoints.
2. Be a ‘brand guardian’ for L'OR, working closely with external creative, shopper and media agency partners.
3. Be a champion for your brand and category, working closely with local and global stakeholders.
4. Support the Brand Manager(s)/ Category Manager on range/portfolio management, including leadership of innovation & renovation projects, including packaging artwork processes, and deployment in store through powerful sell-in and launch plans.
5. Responsible for brand and portfolio performance tracking and analysis, and supporting the wider sales & marketing team to create course correction plans.
6. Supports Shopper Marketing & Category Management JDE teams to ensure exceptional brand activation in-store & on shelf.
7. Ownership of the local marketing budget, management, tracking and reporting to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
8. Responsible for compiling market & competitor reviews in order to feed into plans.
9. Supports Instant team members in various activities as required.
Qualifications
Must have:
1. Previous Marketing experience, preferably FMCG.
2. Experience developing & executing digital & shopper comms across social media, websites, digital and shopper touchpoints is highly desired.
3. Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
4. Excellent communication skills with track record of building strong relationships/collaboration.
5. An entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset (we are a “start-up” business).
6. A “can do” attitude.
Nice to have:
1. Assistant Brand Manager FMCG with 1-2 years experience.
Education:
1. Educated to degree level – Marketing/Business/Management desirable.
