We are looking for a qualified/part qualified group management accountant who will be responsible for all aspects of the preparation of the monthly management accounts, providing analysis and insight to senior management. You will be a key member of the finance team reporting to, and supporting, the Group Financial Controller and CFO. Your responsibilities will include preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting departmental costs reports, and identifying opportunities for both cost reduction and improvements to profitability. You will also have a vital contributing role in the annual statutory audit.
This role will be office based, a minimum of three days a week - Monday to Friday based on the Bleach HQ in Dalston.

Responsibilities:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with supporting analysis.
* Investigate variances against budgets and prior periods.
* Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations Reconciling Gross Profit Margin.
* Maintenance of accruals and prepayment schedules.
* Maintaining the Fixed Asset register, and posting of periodic depreciation.
* Preparation of payroll reporting.
* Key member of statutory audit.
* Providing cover for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks as appropriate.
* Any other duties or ad-hoc projects as might be reasonably requested.
* Supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO in all financial matters.
* Special projects - ad hoc review, analysis, & reporting on new business opportunities including cost reduction opportunities.
Experience:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or in latter stages of completion).
* 3 years post graduate qualification in a similar environment.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
* Bachelor's (preferred).
* Team player, hands-on approach & adaptable in a start-up environment.
* Knowledge of SAP By Design/software development.
