Job Summary Our client, a leading Civil Engineering and Infrastructure specialist, is seeking a Sub Agent to join their team working on a major utilities project in London.. The ideal candidate will have experience in civil engineering, design management, and site supervision, with proficiency in AutoCAD/MicroStation and strong communication skills.
Experience - Extensive experience in Civil Engineering and working on large-scale infrastructure projects. - Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, and experience with programme and risk management, including cost control and reporting. - Familiarity with civil engineering specifications and testing requirements. - Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering (Degree/HNC or equivalent). - CSCS card mandatory. - IOSH Managing Safely or SMSTS certification. - Temporary Works Coordinator training. - Confined space certification. - Strong communication and team management skills. - Ability to challenge designs and resolve issues effectively. - Proven leadership to align teams with company values and maintain high standards of compliance. - Knowledge of Microsoft Project software and relevant contract forms (JCT, NEC).
Job Responsibilities - Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating. - Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and scope. - Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams. - Prepare and deliver regular progress reports and meetings. - Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. - Coordinate site activities, including resource allocation and conflict resolution. - Documents review, comments and approval. - Design documents & drawings structures, check and approval. - Managing the design house. - Concept Design. - Managing the site survey. - RFI, TQ, NCR etc. - Setting out experience. - Setting out experience. - Auto-CAD/MicroStation. - Temporary Work.
