We also take trips to Morecambe FC for games and enjoy bus rides to Lancaster city centre for coffee and shopping.
The individuals we support at Regent Road are always busy and love new activities! Katie often wins rounds at the local bowling alley, Archie enjoys drawing, scrabble, dominoes, and computer games, while Nic loves pampering and getting her nails done! About The Role
As a Team Leader, you will assist the Registered Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the home. This includes ensuring that the needs of the service users are met, managing the staff team, monitoring the quality of care and support, and ensuring high standards of professional practice while achieving compliance with external regulatory standards.
Reporting to the Registered Manager, you will ensure that specialist and quality care and support for service users is maintained through planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating service user care and support. The Team Leader will also ensure that policies, procedures, systems, and workplace practices are fully implemented and consistently applied.
You will be passionate about motivating and empowering your team and encouraging their development. You will be an inspiring role model, leading by example, imparting knowledge, championing best practices, and promoting new thinking, enabling the team to help the people we support make choices, live each day to the fullest, and develop life skills along the way.
We are looking for a highly motivated team member who will either have or be working towards an NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care level 3/5. Experience working with individuals with communication difficulties is desirable. A sound working knowledge and understanding of CQC Regulations and Standards, the Mental Capacity Act, and the Deprivation of Liberty Standards is also desirable.

The successful candidate will need to show a high level of commitment and flexibility in the role and be able to work closely with the Registered Manager and staff team to ensure the very best outcomes for the individuals residing at Ashleigh House.
