We are looking for a highly motivated NPD (New Product Development) Support Assistant to play a key role in supporting the Gifting Team within a well-known reputable household brand known for its sustainable and accessible luxury products. The role requires travel to the Far East. You must be a fluent Mandarin speaker with excellent written skills. You will be based at the Head Office in North Worcestershire, 3-5 days per week. The Role As NPD Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Gifting and Gifting Team on Seasonal Gifting, supporting the delivery of new seasonal products from idea conception through to on-shelf. This will involve close collaboration with the Design, Quality Assurance, Technical teams in the UK, and the wider team and gift manufacturing suppliers based in the Far East. There will be some travel to China required. A key part of your role will be checking & approving the artwork for the gifting seasonal ranges. This will include compiling product development briefs, organising the delivery and storage of product samples, arranging mock samples for events, filing approved visuals in the product library, creating and updating PowerPoint presentations and style guides, checking product specification details are correct prior to production. You will also be responsible for various administration duties and managing product data to ensure data accuracy and maintenance on the system and provide product information to suppliers. About You You must have experience in new product development, ideally within the cosmetics industry and/or retail packaging. You enjoy working in a very fast-paced environment and adapting to changes and challenges during the development process. You have excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. You consider yourself a team player, always willing to support your colleagues as required and eager to help solve issues. You are confident dealing with people at all levels within the business and can effectively build strong working relationships. You are proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
