About the Role:
The Dynamics CE Solution Architect is a core team member of KPMG's customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 centered solutions. The CE Solution Architect should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, and working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development while leading and mentoring more junior staff.
This role is an important element of KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE projects. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing business area within an established and market-leading global Big 4 firm.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities, working closely with client teams and business stakeholders.
* Lead, organize, manage, and document workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions with client representatives, project stakeholders, and delivery teams.
* Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities.
* Gather and document functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstreams.
* Ensure our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigor and attention to detail as our client engagements.
* Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution architect to ensure that the Power Platform solution meets client requirements.
* Contribute to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members.
* Identify business/project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
* Deliver high-quality business and software solutions and services to clients, ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configurations/customizations.
* Create high-quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation, including support for testing activities.
* Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan: on time and on budget.
* Contribute to pre-sales activities as required, including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations.
* Deliver end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable.
* Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behavior.
* Advise clients and delivery team members of scope creep and use of change control processes.
* Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of projects to clients and junior team members.
* Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally.
* Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific solutions.
* Lead people and help them grow in their role.
* Manage the performance of two or more junior members of the product team.
* Ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training in all activities.

Qualifications and Essential Skills:
* Extensive experience as a CRM Consultant with large-scale complex implementations and deep knowledge of the technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification.
* Deep understanding of Azure and cloud technologies, .NET development, and Power BI.
* Understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and ability to leverage it to create powerful solutions (PowerApps, Power BI, Data Verse, Azure, Office 365) while working in fast-paced Agile environments.
* Ability to clearly articulate and present ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
* Successfully translate business and customer needs into a great digital customer experience.
* Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Power Platform Accelerators, industry templates, and add-ons.
* Experience in leading and mentoring junior team members.
* Willingness to develop knowledge of new functionality in Microsoft platforms, keeping on top of roadmaps, and studying for certifications to ensure the delivery of the best solutions to our clients.
* Knowledge of best practices for working with offshore teams.
* Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications, ideally the most current versions are desirable.
* Preferably a University graduate with a relevant degree within a computing or business discipline.

Experience and Background:
* Extensive experience as a CRM Solution Architect leading enterprise implementation with deep and broad knowledge of the technical capabilities of Dynamics 365.
* Good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365.
* Experience in a delivery-oriented IT environment using waterfall and agile methodologies.
* Experience with Dynamics 365 in a Lead Design Consulting role.
* Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning, and early live support.
* Business process mapping, modeling, and documentation knowledge.
* Experience of leading and mentoring others in practice improvement initiatives.
* Awareness of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365.
* Minimum 10 plus years of hands-on proven functional experience in Power Platform configuration, standard customization, standard workflows, dashboards, flows, forms, views, and standard reports development.
* Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of clients’ needs and incorporate them into solutions.
* Deep knowledge and understanding of capabilities of D365 CE in the following modules: Sales Management, Marketing, Customer Service Management, Field Services, Project Services Automation.
