ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
The role of the Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be to establish and build loyal relationships while growing the Herschel brand and increasing sales in our distribution channels across UK & EMEA. This person will work with multiple departments including Sales, Operations, Finance and Marketing to grow sales within our independents business in the UK, prospecting new accounts and supporting with marketing across the EMEA region.
The role is based in our London office (2-3 days a week in office / 1-2 days on the road depending on season), reporting into the International Marketing Manager.

On a day-to-day basis, the sales & marketing co-ordinator will:
1. Be a team player within our sales and marketing department by supporting and assisting the growth of the brand through existing & new accounts via pre-books & driving replenishment orders
2. Offer 360 degree sales management of independent accounts in the UK & Ireland
3. Manage the Order process from start to finish across the Independent business, ensuring information is accurate across sales and operations ERP systems
4. Identifying in season selling opportunities through regular contact with accounts to pinpoint needs & propose a calendar of relevant sales emails via Mailchimp
5. Actively support with staff training & store visits – supporting Sales Manager & International Marketing Manager as and when required
6. Assist with the preparation of seasonal product set-ups, including key account catalog services, and vendor portals
7. Assist with preparation of sales reports and reconcile sales reports
8. Prepare miscellaneous research reports as required by sales and marketing team
9. Work with finance on A/R collections and invoicing coordination and any initiatives involving both departments
10. Actively prospect new accounts & opportunities to grow the business
11. Support International Marketing Manager in monitoring coverage across multiple platforms on a daily basis & compiling relevant coverage reports
12. Manage day to day marketing activity in Scandinavia & Benelux region, with the support of marketing manager
13. Manage asset briefs for all marketing asset resizes
14. Working with suppliers in printing of POP, showroom assets & negotiating costs with vendors
15. Showroom management - quarterly showroom set up, pack down & sample management
16. Supporting International Marketing Manager in pulling together suitable asset packs for key accounts in a timely manor & working with operations to send these out in line with stock deliveries
17. Raise seeding & VM orders
18. Working with Visual Merchandiser to support with planograms for key accounts
19. Monitor RRPs & Marketplace vendors
20. Any other tasks required by International Marketing Manager, Sales Manager & VP of International
ABOUT YOU
21. Excellent Excel & Google slides skills
22. Undergraduate degree preferred but not essential
23. In date passport - some international travel may be required
24. Full driving license preferred
25. Confident when presenting and approaching potential new accounts both on the phone & in person
26. Ability to foresee deadlines and plan accordingly
27. Excellent organizational, planning, and scheduling skills
28. Excellent communication and coordination with internal and external team
29. Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
30. Flexible approach to working across multiple time zones spanning from mainland Europe to our HQ in Vancouver
31. Passion for both sales & marketing & putting forward new ideas and ways of doing things
SALARY BAND
The annual salary for this role falls within the range of £27,000-£30,000.
