Description
* Oversee all finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and general ledger management.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability.
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure financial targets are met.
* Develop and maintain the budget and monitor performance against target through forecasting and variance analysis.
* Reconciling VAT report and submitting to HMRC on time.
* Produce end to end monthly management accounts.
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Prepare and post journals for accruals prepayments
* Post Depreciation
* Managing the Fixed Asset Register
* Ensure all financial operations are in compliance with statutory regulations.
* Offer financial advice to management to aid in business planning and decision making.
* Monitor the budgeting process and conduct risk management.
* Participate in the development of strategic plans and objectives.
* Lead a small Finance team ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
* AAT Qualified.
* Proven experience in a similar role within the Manufacturing industry.
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
* Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
* Proficient in using financial software and tools.
* High level of accuracy.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
