Belmont recruitment are looking to speak with experienced criminal justice recovery workers to work for a private charity in Mitcham. Candidates should have knowledge specifically in substance misuse, as the role will consist of predominantly working with court-ordered drug and alcohol treatment clients, as well as clients referred from criminal justice partners, such as prison or probation.
The day-to-day role will involve managing a small caseload, carrying out both personalised and risk assessments, triages, 1-1 work, and group work. This role will also require multidisciplinary collaboration with probation officers, prison staff, police, and court staff, as well as working alongside clinical teams both in-house and externally.
The majority of clients are a mix of both drugs and alcohol, including opiate and non-opiate clients, and non-dependent and dependent drinkers.
Requirements:
1. DBS required
2. Full-time work (37.5 hours - Mon to Fri - 9 to 5)
3. Salary: £18-20 per hour
