Job summary Band 7 0.4 wte (2 days) 15 hours part time 9 month fixed term post An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Psychotherapist to join our established adult community Eating Disorders Team. The post is fixed term for 9 months to cover a secondment. You will be joining an experienced and welcoming Multidisciplinary Team which highly values psychotherapeutic work. We are very keen to attract the right candidates and consider locality working and hybrid working to fit with the applicant's needs and that of the service. Main duties of the job Providing talking therapies to clients with Eating Disorders, providing supervision/training to other staff and acting as a part of the Multi-Disciplinary Team. They will carry a caseload of complex clients and be expected to be an important contributor in the team management of the most complex clients who present to the service. The successful candidate will undertake direct clinical work, supervision, consultation and contribute to teaching and service development as well as helping to consult and guide on client's psychological care, from a trauma informed perspective. The team are trained in different therapy models including CBT, CAT, EMDR and integrative therapy and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake further training. No previous experience of eating disorders is necessary as you will be provided with professional and clinical supervision, and there will be multiple opportunities to develop your specialist clinical skills.
