Job Title: Trusts & Foundation Manager – London Transport Museum (LTM)
Salary: £36,850 plus benefits (see more information below)
Contract: Full time - LTM - Permanent
Location: Cranbourn Street (Leicester Square), and hybrid working. Until our new office is ready, you may be asked to work at our Palestra Office (Southwark, London).
Hybrid working: This role enables a balance of 50 per cent of time split between the office and home over a 4-week period. Hybrid working arrangements can evolve subject to business requirements.

Key Accountabilities
* Identify and develop new funding opportunities from trusts and foundations based on your understanding of all areas of the Museum’s work.
* Manage a portfolio of trusts and foundations of various sizes and at different stages of engagement, securing income through research, effective communications, and cogent applications.
* Support relationship development and income generation from existing funders, including Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
* Maintain project oversight of successful grant applications.
* Manage meticulous data and administration processes, overseeing key milestones, KPIs, and an application pipeline.
* Ensure all reports are written and completed in a timely and professional manner as part of a personalized approach to supporter care.
* Conduct all activities in line with best practice standards as set out by the Institute of Fundraising and industry regulatory bodies.
* Stay updated on the latest trends and developments within fundraising to ensure LTM remains competitive and innovative.
* Contribute to the overall strategy and success of the Marketing and Development team, embedding a culture of fundraising and philanthropy across LTM.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Knowledge
* Knowledge of the trusts and foundations funding landscape (Essential).
* Experience in researching trusts and developing a prospect pipeline.
* Proven ability to build personal relationships with funders.
* Experience in developing successful complex proposals and applications.
* Understanding of reporting and stewardship of relationships with funders.
* Knowledge of GDPR and fundraising legislation and compliance.
Skills
* Computer and database literate with a good working knowledge of MS Office.
* Flair for writing excellent, succinct applications that meet funders' criteria.
* Highly collaborative, able to work across the Museum to identify and maximize income opportunities.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritize strategically and operationally, and manage time effectively.
* Attention to detail, editing, and proof-reading skills.
* Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
* Commitment to working with the team to meet income targets.
* Passion for the Museum and its ambitions.
Experience
* Proven track record of working closely with delivery teams to identify projects attractive to funders.
* Experience in developing and project managing multi-year applications to funders.
* Successful income generation, including securing five-figure gifts from trusts and foundations.
* Experience liaising with trust administrators and trustees.
* Experience working with Finance teams and financial management systems.
* Track record of delivering against targets and managing multiple projects.
* Experience developing and implementing fundraising pipelines.
* Excellent database management skills and ability to act on data insights.
