Job overview
Gateshead West CTT is offering a Band 7 Clinical Lead opportunity for 12 months to cover a secondment. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate collective leadership within the multi-disciplinary team and work closely with the senior management team.
As a clinical lead, you will provide support, advice, and supervision to the team and ensure operational efficiency of clinical pathways. You will be expected to demonstrate excellent clinical skills in working with adults with secondary mental health care needs and represent the team both within CNTW and with external stakeholders.
The successful post holder will demonstrate strong commitment to high-quality client care and good organisational skills to prioritise workload. Key challenges will be to ensure care continues to be safe, effective, and responsive, and to support community transformation within a pioneering team.
Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The main roles of this post include:
* Manage referrals
* Support assessment
* Provide clinical expertise in formulating treatment plans and interventions
* Provide clinical supervision & case management guidance
In return, the successful candidate can expect regular clinical and managerial supervision and the opportunity to work in a supportive leadership team.
Minimum Requirements
* Registered Mental Health Nurse/ Registered Learning Disability Nurse (minimum of 2 years post qualification experience)
* Practice assessor/supervisor
* Relevant Clinical Training and post-graduate Qualification
* Evidence of experience in therapeutic interventions relevant to specialty (e.g., nurse Prescribing, CBT, DBT, PSI, EFT, NLP, Family Interventions, Group work)
Knowledge and Experience
* Knowledge & Experience of working within Community Teams
* Experience of MDT and Multi-agency working
* Experience in delivering clinical supervision
* Experience in supporting Case Load Management
* Facilitation of Personal Development Planning in others
* Knowledge and experience of Community Transformation
Skills and Competencies
* Organisational and time management skills
* Demonstrates excellent Leadership skills
* Ability to work across professional and organisational boundaries internally and externally
* Prioritisation of complex workload
