As our business expands, we are seeking an experienced, office-based Sales Account Manager to join our team.
You will be responsible for converting new business leads into sales opportunities, managing existing wholesale trade accounts, and developing new relationships. This role suits an organized, results-driven, outgoing individual who can develop a thorough understanding of our products and our wholesale and retail relationships. You will promote our brand and products to existing customers while pursuing new business opportunities within the UK and globally.
As a Sales Account Manager, you should aim to satisfy customer needs, respond promptly to queries, and deliver a positive customer experience. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, along with a customer service orientation, are essential.
Ultimately, your goal is to grow our business by building successful, long-term customer relationships.

Main Responsibilities
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all customer account management matters.
2. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
3. Generate new business through inquiries and leads from trade shows or forwarded by the sales director.
4. Develop new business opportunities via internet research.
5. Maximize revenue from onboard accounts by working with buyers on range selection and visual merchandising to increase sales and sell-through rates.
6. Attend trade shows and retail exhibitions.
7. Prepare reports on account status.
Requirements
1. Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
2. Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally for trade shows.
3. Proactive attitude with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
4. Proven experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or in a similar sales role, preferably within the home or gift industry.
5. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Pipedrive, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, HubSpot) and MS Office.
6. Excellent interpersonal skills and team spirit.
7. Own transport is required due to location.
