Job summary We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist with musculoskeletal (MSK) experience who is willing to develop their skills through our 2-year training programme. In this role you will be involved in assessing, treating our NHS colleagues with a mix musculoskeletal caseload in a clinic setting as well as rehabilitation in the staff health & fitness centre. Main duties of the job The role involves providing timely and appropriate specialist physiotherapy assessment/diagnosis/management and rehabilitation for our employees with acute and long-term complex musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for supporting employees with MSK conditions to remain at work or return in a timely manner. The post holder will also design and deliver health promotion sessions to prevent or reduce MSK conditions within the work force. As part of the role, you will act as a senior member of the Occupational Health & Wellbeing Team providing a responsive, effective and co-ordinated service in conjunction with the multi-disciplinary team. You will be involved in clinical supervision and continuing professional development including the 2 year training programme. You will support and champion other related work programmes within South Tyneside and Sunderland e.g. clinical governance, risk management and health and safety.
