Robert Half is excited to be partnering exclusively with a leading organisation based in Edinburgh to recruit a Financial Planning Analyst for a permanent, full-time opportunity. This role is ideal for an analytical individual who is confident communicating with non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership. Open to part-qualified, finalist level or qualified accountants with the right skill set.
The organisation offers a hybrid working model, requiring 2-3 days on site each week.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, your primary duties will include:
* Financial modelling/review for bids as required (partnering with operations, presales and sales)
o Ability to project P&L, balance sheet and cashflow impact
* Liaise with Project managers and management to ensure tight control and reporting of variance to plan on major projects
* Own elements of Monthly Management reporting and P&L analysis
* Provide analysis metrics for order intake to sales recognition
* Review monthly commission claims of sales team members and pass for approval.
* Support FP&A Manager/CFO on Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecast process
* Adhoc analysis and financial modelling as required to support the business growth trajectory
o With focus on by product, project and by customer profitability analysis
Skills and Experience
To succeed in this position, you'll bring:
* Ability to cope with large amounts of data and analyse effectively with output that aids management decisions
* Ability to communicate with and challenge senior executives
* Strong financial modelling skills
* Strong Excel skills
Salary will sit within a range of £40,000 - £44,000 with a lucrative benefits package.
