Maths/ Science Teaching Assistant

Location: Secondary School based in Hounslow
A small secondary school based in Hounslow is looking for a Teaching Assistant who has a good understanding of SEN to support children aged 11-16 across their mainstream classes. The Teaching Assistant role starts in April, and trials and interviews will be held as soon as possible.
The school offers a fantastic enrichment programme for staff involvement, including homework and after-school clubs.
Parking is available on site!
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
* Work with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
* Carry out assessments and observations as instructed by teachers
* Support with reading and writing, focusing on students with special needs
* Write progress reports for students with SEN and varied abilities
Ideal Skills and Requirements:
* Math or science-related degree
* Experience working with children in any setting/understanding of SEN
* Experience working in a care setting (e.g., support worker or healthcare assistant)
* Enthusiastic attitude towards learning
* Be proactive and professional
