Intervention Teacher - Skelmersdale
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an Intervention Teacher to join our team in Skelmersdale, North West England, Lancashire. This is a temporary position with full-time hours expected. The successful candidate will be working in the Education and Training industry, specifically focusing on providing targeted support to students who require additional assistance.
Job Duties:
* Deliver tailored intervention sessions to students in need of extra support in specific subjects.
* Assess students' learning needs and develop individualised learning plans.
* Monitor and track students' progress to ensure effective intervention strategies.
* Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to provide feedback on students' progress.
* Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and student outcomes.
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities as required.
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Experience in delivering targeted interventions to students.
* Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field.
* Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.
* Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching strategies and assessment methods.
* Proficient in using data to inform instructional decisions.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or related field.
* Experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
* Additional training in behaviour management techniques.
Working Conditions:
The Intervention Teacher role is based in Skelmersdale, North West England, and involves working full-time hours on a temporary basis. The salary range for this position is £140 - £190 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
