Salary: £30,000-£32,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday 08:30-16:30

ECL are looking for a Day Centre Manager to take on the leadership of our Harlow Learning Disabilities Day Centre.
Supporting the Lead Manager, you will be overseeing and developing a day service with community-based support for adults with learning disabilities and/or autism. With direct line management responsibility of a team of Support Workers, you will run a safe and effective service whilst leading the team to deliver person-centred support to our customers. You will be a strong leader, championing our goal of helping people live as independently as possible in their local community.
Experience working with vulnerable people and a passion for promoting independence and customer choice will equip you for developing customer pathways and identifying opportunities for improvement, supporting the innovation and transformation of our services.
With operating hours of 08:30-16:30 Monday-Friday and no on-call responsibilities, this role offers flexibility and genuine work-life balance.
About You
To be considered as a Day Centre Manager, you need:
Knowledge and experience of working with vulnerable people and customers with a variety of needs
Excellent knowledge of Learning Disabilities Services
Evidence of continued professional development within the care sector
Demonstrable skills in supervising and monitoring employee performance
The ability to organise and set priorities, meeting multiple deadlines and evaluate assignments across service areas
To be capable of providing training, induction, and guidance
To be supportive of change, always showing flexibility and reliability
The ability to empathise and be understanding
Leadership experience in the care industry, as a Care Manager, Service Manager or similar
A full valid driving licence and vehicle to travel
