Job Description:
Our client is an award-winning consultancy delivering energy efficiency, carbon management, and cost reduction solutions to some of the most recognized brands in the country. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a full-time, permanent basis to join their office in Brierley Hill, Birmingham.
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will report to the Associate Director and work as part of the electrical design team to deliver projects from feasibility through to construction.
Remuneration
* Salary: £45k - £60k (Guide only - DOE)
* Working hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities
* Design, specifications, and project management of electrical projects (all aspects of Electrical Services), including all RIBA stages.
* Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ensure designs meet British Standards and legislation.
* Conduct Electrical Services Feasibility Studies and Energy Efficiency Reports, including Solar PV, LED Lighting, and Electric Vehicle Charging.
* Attend project meetings and design department meetings.
* Develop good relationships with team members.
* Assist with QA procedures for projects.
* Mentor Junior and Graduate Engineers, assisting in their development and training.
* Support the Design Manager in implementing the Design strategy.
Requirements
* Degree-level qualification or equivalent in electrical engineering.
* Professional registration with CIBSE and/or IET preferred.
* At least 10 years of design experience progressing to Senior Engineer level.
* Experience in electrical engineering, consultancy, and installations.
* Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Hevacomp, Amtech.
* Good knowledge of industry regulations, electrical design, and installations.
* Experience with utility services, including connections and disconnections.
* Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients and teams.
