The People & Culture (P&C) team at Ashurst delivers purpose-led transformation programmes and practices that support the attraction and enablement of leading talent. Our team has a blend of roles and expertise within our global Business Partnering team and our Centres of Excellence - Learning & OD, Reward & People Data, Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning, Inclusion, Diversity & Belonging, and Performance Innovation.
Reporting to the People & Culture Director - UK, EMEA & US, this role will be part of the Northern Hemisphere business partnering team covering a period of upcoming parental leave.
On a day-to-day basis, you will partner with Practice Heads/Partners and Business Services leaders in the London office, providing advice, coaching, and support across a broad range of P&C matters spanning the employee lifecycle. Working in collaboration with P&C divisional leads, you will focus on enabling partners/business leaders to effectively manage and support their people with a focus on developing and retaining talent, employee engagement, and wellbeing to drive a culture of high performance.
Our ideal candidate will be a true generalist who can bring significant experience in business partnering at a senior stakeholder level as well as a good understanding of the many different responsibilities of the wider People & Culture function. You will have a strong understanding of progressive HR practice, current UK employment legislation and application, as well as superior stakeholder management skills and the ability to become a trusted advisor to your stakeholder group.
