We are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to deliver significant performance improvements to its recruitment, retention and staff availability. This is an exciting and challenging senior HR role that will support Divisions to achieve its staffing plan while simultaneously driving implementation of the OD& P strategic agenda within the directorate.
The successful applicant will also play a key role as part of the OD& P team, contributing ideas to enrich HR & Development interventions and ways of working, and working with People Business partner colleagues and our centres of expertise within our OD& P directorate.

Main duties of the job
Critically, the post holder will be responsible for provision, progressive implementation and reporting of monthly and quarterly service to ensure the division has:
* An active, well-articulated, SMART resourcing plan.
* A retention plan and activities which includes appraisals, wellbeing conversations etc.
* A retention plan that delivers career stage gate conversations, accurate insights, and responses to reasons for leaving, a succession plan and responsiveness to labour turnover trend data.
Other main duties of the job include: -
* Ensure that the allocated client area/directorate has a sustainable workforce that is optimally deployed, by supporting the development of new roles, reorganisations and one best way of working through our improving together programme.
* Provide strategic people related advice and support to the Divisional Management Team.
* Embed excellent people practices and culture within the designated Division in support of our mission to become an exemplar for the NHS people promise and a just and leaning culture.
* Lead or support as required, on delegated projects in support of the OD& P corporate plan for example, Trust incentives/rewards lead, Trust lead for retention, Trust lead for flexible working etc.
