Job Opportunity: Year 7 SEMH Teacher in Bristol
We are working on behalf of a fantastic special school based in Bristol, seeking a Year 7 SEMH Teacher to join from January. The school primarily supports SEMH students and has a longstanding history of providing quality education.
The school is proud of its impactful work and supports students with challenging behaviors. Currently, there are 2 Teaching Assistants (TAs) who are highly supportive and enjoy working at the school.
The Role
This position involves working with a Year 7 class of 8 students, where you will be responsible for planning, marking, and leading lessons based on a primary education model. You will be supported by 2 permanent TAs familiar with the students.
Candidates must have previous experience working with SEMH/SEN students, preferably in a special school setting. Confidence in managing challenging behaviors, patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for teaching are essential.
