Job Details
* As our Telematics Product grows, it needs a robust data analytics function behind it. We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join the team.
* The primary function of the role is to act as the key point of contact for the commercial manager to undertake key analyses to inform both commercial and customer outcomes.
* You will work across a number of important commercial areas including identifying emerging market & trading trends and analysing commercial performance.
* You will conduct end to end analytics projects, from data exploration, data planning, generating insights through to storytelling.
* There is an element of mentorship within the role. We would like someone who can draw on past experience to be a role model to the more junior members of the team.
Skills we would love you to have
* Experienced in a data analytics role with the ability to clean, scrutinize and interrogate high volumes of complex data and translate into meaningful reports and insights.
* Well versed in all stages of the data analytics lifecycle.
* Experience leading on analytical projects and evidencing clear delivery action-oriented analytical projects.
* Prior insurance experience is positive, but not a necessity. We are more interested in someone with experience utilising customer data, whether that is in insurance, the wider financial sector or retail.
