The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in the smooth operation of the finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
Balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring VAT compliance.
Supporting audit preparation and providing key financial reports.
Managing projects, including improving and managing the expense systems and supporting a variety of other tasks.
Handling day-to-day finance administration, assisting with tasks to reduce team pressures.This is an on-site role, based in Monmouth, and requires someone proactive, organised, and adaptable to take ownership of different projects to support the Finance Manager.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong experience in finance administration, including balance sheet reconciliations and VAT.
Proficiency in SAP and Excel; experience with SharePoint is a bonus.
A proactive attitude, able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to integrate into a close-knit team.Details
