An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated sales individual to join an established and respected Distribution client that imports bespoke products to the Retail Industry with very recognizable key client accounts.
The ideal candidate will need to be familiar with sales account management and have experience developing customer accounts.
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing customer accounts, developing the businesses and managing the full order cycle and processes.
Some new business sales will be expected, and bonuses will be rewarded for the development of existing and new customer accounts.
You will need to be confident, articulate, and organized with great commercial acumen. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ever-expanding family business and team in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
* Proactively identify and develop opportunities in the local target market.
* Maximize sales across the complete product range.
* Generate leads and contact prospective customers.
* Upsell products to maximize order potential.
* Understand client business in detail to increase their value.
* Convert leads from enquiry into quotes & sales orders – commission offered here.
You will be assigned some existing key customer accounts that you will develop through the delivery of excellent customer service, liaising with existing customers and advising on product savings and new additions to the portfolio as well as managing current regular orders. You will also make calls to lapsed clients to understand their current trading needs and see if they would be happy to reconnect and provide a quotation for their upcoming orders.
