As a Buyer, you'll play an essential role in our client's procurement team by managing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers.

Job Duties:
1. Manage the Purchase Order System (MRP), maintain blanket orders, procure necessary items, and communicate purchase orders to suppliers promptly.
2. Follow up on late deliveries, review inventory reports to prevent shortages, and authorise invoices for stock and packaging items.
3. Optimise stock levels to balance cost and production demands, verify supplier lead times, and collaborate to correct stock discrepancies.
4. Enhance supplier performance in partnership with the quality department and assist in selecting new suppliers as needed.
What we are looking for:
1. Experience in a Buying / Purchasing position.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; a professional telephone manner is essential.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve daily objectives.
