Join Our Client’s Expanding Team: Senior Structural Engineer Opportunity in Cheltenham Our client is a respected and rapidly growing structural engineering practice seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Structural Engineer to join their new, second office, in Cheltenham. This is a unique opportunity to not only work directly with the Managing Director on design and coordination works but also play a pivotal role in the establishment of the new office and shaping the future of the firm as a whole. This role will be fast paced, with good work variety across varying size and project types. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and analysis of structural projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with all relevant UK regulations and standards. Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to deliver innovative and effective structural solutions, across a wide breadth of project types. Be involved in the business development and relationship origination of key contacts and customers. Directly support the Managing Director in the completion of design and coordination works. An opportunity to be instrumental in the growth and development of their new Cheltenham office. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (BEng) or Master’s Degree (MEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with a recognised institution such as the Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE) or the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) or actively working towards chartered status. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in structural engineering within the UK, with a proven track record of managing a wide range of projects. Proficiency in structural design software and a strong understanding of current UK building regulations and practices. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with an ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders. ‘Can do’ attitude with a focus on problem solving and providing positive outcomes for customers.
