About the Business:
1. The Addington Hostel has operated for 125+ years providing unique care for men who have Corrections/Mental Health/Addictions experiences. This is a 24/7 staffed site with a mix of Nurses, Social Workers, Caseworkers, Support workers, Counsellors and Addiction staff focused upon housing but also on a holistic response to a wide variety of needs each day
What will your responsibilities be:
2. The Senior Caseworker works alongside all the hostel team in providing support and guidance in the day issues that arise for all parts of the team. You bring your wisdom, experience and training in ensuring the best outcome is reached in the unique problems that come up every day.
Our ideal candidate will:
3. A NZ approved degree level qualification in Nursing, Social Work, Counselling, Addictions, (or equivalent)
4. NZ registration with NZ Council of Nursing, SWRB, Dapaanz, NZAC or NZ equivalent
5. At least 3 years post grad experience in direct client work/Casework in either Mental health, Addictions, Housing, Counselling (or similar)
6. Able to work with Men within a hostel type environment

This role is permanent full time and hours worked will be 40 per week.
The starting salary for this role will fall between $81k and $102k depending upon experience and qualifications
