The role will be based in our London office, with some flexibility to work from home for part of the week.
Duties:
Core duties will include, but not be limited to:
* Legal Documentation: Prepare, review, and manage a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate records.
* Corporate Transactions: Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions, including due diligence, document drafting, and closing processes.
* Finance: Support debt restructuring, refinancing, and other debt-related activities by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with stakeholders.
* Research: Conduct legal research and provide summaries and reports on various legal issues related to corporate and commercial law or debt matters.
* Communication: Liaise with external legal counsel and internal departments to facilitate legal processes and transactions.
Skills and abilities:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
* Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on corporate and commercial law or debt matters.
* Skills: Knowledge of corporate and commercial law, excellent legal research and writing skills, and proficiency in legal document management.
* Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills.
