Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in the Solihull area of Birmingham to appoint a cover supervisor who can step in the absence of the main classroom teacher.
Successful candidates will have the confidence to deliver lessons, follow lesson plans accurately and manage classroom behaviour effectively. You will have knowledge of different special educational needs and having experience working with children with different educational needs is advantageous. Cover supervisors are vital in ensuring continuity in learning so being able to confidently "fill in" and ensure pupils do not miss out on their learning, is of such high importance.
Hours: Flexible, full time
Pay: £95-130 (per day, dependent upon experience)
Relevant Qualifications/Experiences:
* Previous experience as a cover supervisor (desired but not essential)
* Previous experience working with young people and children
* Strong behaviour management skills/classroom presence
* Passionate about education and making a difference
* Currently studying a teacher training course or thinking of it in the future and wanting to gain invaluable classroom experience
* Be reliable, organised and hard working

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
