Health Care Support Worker Band 3 Permanent Full time / Part time position We are seeking an enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker, who is passionate about working in older person’s rehabilitation. The Day Hospital provides a 7-day service and weekend working on a rota basis is a requirement of the role. This post is Based in Christchurch Day Hospital. The post also requires working in the community in patients own homes. A full driver's licence and use of a car is essential. The Day Hospital is an award-winning service of integrated professionals. This highly motivated team specialises in older persons care and rehabilitation, providing a holistic approach that supports and empowers patients to achieve independence. Previous experience of older person in a rehabilitation environment is essential. A Current Care Certificate Is Required For This Role Base Location: Christchurch Interview Date: TBC Key responsibilities of the position will be to work closely with the multidisciplinary team and other health care professionals in assisting the assessment and treatment of the older person. Part of your role will be to provide health education and exercise therapy both in the Day Hospital and the patient’s home setting. This is also an exciting opportunity to be part of a service which is growing and evolving in the merge between Bournemouth and Poole Hospitals.
