We are excited to be looking for a Stakeholder Engagement Apprentice based in either London or Manchester! You will work towards achieving a Level 4 qualification via Apprentify.

About the opportunity
Jacobs has a large portfolio of long-term contracts working on some of the UK and Ireland’s most high-profile infrastructure projects and we want to grow our Stakeholder Engagement & Communications team to meet this ever-increasing portfolio of projects. Our team is delivering projects from concept stage through to construction and we are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable staff to join this highly successful team.
The Stakeholder Engagement & Communications team sits within our Water and Environment business and you will work as part of a diverse and highly skilled team of specialists and engineers, providing support and advice to a wide range of clients. The main purpose of the role is to support the delivery of comprehensive and innovative communications, public consultations and stakeholder engagement activities across a range of national infrastructure projects.
We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery. We empower employees with our hybrid working policy, allowing them to split their work week between Jacobs offices/projects and remote locations enabling them to deliver their best work.
Here's what you'll need
* A minimum of 5 GCSE's Grade 5-9, including Maths and English
* A flexible and proactive self-starter who’s passionate about developing new skills
* The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities
* Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real-world problems
* Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements
* A well-rounded person – have you travelled around the world? Worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us - we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences!
* You must have the permanent right to work in the UK.
