Temporary Role for 4 Months Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm The Role: Comply with all Heath, Safety and Environmental legislation together with all Company policies and procedures Working with selected team members plan & optimise new warehouse facility by effectively coordinating layout & stock transfers from offsite location. Implement a structed cycle count process, ensuring accuracy in both quantity and location, highlighting and tracking any variance, working toward minimising yearend risk. Supporting yead team on space utilisation and stock control. Implement a structured process for inventory/stock reviews and associated purchasing process. Work with ERP system stakeholders and key suppliers on implementation of system driven carbon reporting. Develop and communicate KPIs, driving sustainable improvement. The Candidate: Previous experience in, warehousing, and inventory control Ability to sustain and develop team working and team-based problem solving. Strong management capability and possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of individuals. Able to achieve results by setting standards and committing to clear objectives. A self-motivated individual with the flexibility to adapt and a willingness to develop new skills. Flexibility to balance a number of priorities. Able to deal with arising issues and solving them in an appropriate and timely manner. Safety awareness is essential with experience of safe systems of work. Good communication and interpersonal skills, both in terms of keeping people informed and providing constructive feedback. Able to make a positive contribution to the organisation. Ability to work flexibly, with the needs of the business. Experience using ERP systems (preferably Syspro) providing a system driven approach to stock control.
