EdEx are working with 4 'Good' and 'Outstanding' schools across the Borough of Wandsworth who are looking for Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, and English for full-time, permanent contracts commencing ASAP.
The Unqualified Teachers - Science, Maths, English position is the perfect opportunity for a graduate looking to kickstart their teaching career and have their teacher training funded by the school they work with.
There are many routes into being a qualified teacher from this role, including the 12-week assessment-only route, a schools direct initial teacher training programme, and a PGCE.
What will the role of an Unqualified Teacher - Science, Maths, English entail?
* Have your own classes that you are responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively.
* Provided schemes of work.
* Working alongside the school covering all lessons.
* Providing high-quality cover lessons - KS3-4 basis.
* Having a subject specialism where your personal strengths lie.
* Raising attainment & the quality of learning.
* Inspiring & motivating young minds.
* Managing behavior effectively.
* ASAP Start - Full Time - Term Time Only.
* UQT1 - UQT6 - £24,000 - £36,500 per annum.
What are we looking for? - Unqualified Teachers, Science, Maths, English
* Academics:
o A degree at 1st class or 2:1 in Science, Maths, or English from a reputable university.
o Strong A-Levels and GCSEs.
* Experience: Strong experience working inside education in any of the following roles:
o Unqualified Teacher.
o Cover Supervisor.
o HLTA.
o Tutor (6 months+).
o Teaching Assistant (6 months+).
* Personality:
o Passionate about your subject specialism.
o Committed to a career in education.
o Comfortable teaching classes of 25-30.
