Quantity Surveyors - Sizewell C Project Location: Suffolk Roles Available: Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS), Quantity Surveyor (QS), Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) Sector: Infrastructure We're currently recruiting experienced and ambitious Quantity Surveyors at various levels (AQS, QS, SQS) to join a key infrastructure project - Sizewell C, one of the largest and most significant energy developments in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a major programme, working on-site with a dedicated commercial and operational team. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the commercial success of the project, contributing to its delivery, cost control, and contractual compliance. What you'll be doing: Managing and administering contracts from start to finish, working closely with both client-side teams and subcontractors. Supporting procurement and producing subcontract documentation, including negotiation of terms, conditions, and pricing. Monitoring project costs, producing monthly CVRs and detailed cost plans, and highlighting risks and opportunities. Ensuring timely and accurate submissions of applications, notices, and quotations in line with NEC contract requirements. Attending site and progress meetings, maintaining accurate records, and advising on change and risk management. Promoting and maintaining safe working practices on site. Supporting junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing (SQS level). What we're looking for: Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within infrastructure or civil engineering. Strong working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts. Confident in commercial reporting, contract administration, and cost forecasting. Comfortable working in a fast-paced site environment with multiple stakeholders. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). Working towards (or already holding) membership with RICS or ICES. Proficiency with Excel and commercial software systems.
