Finance Assistant | PE backed Company | Salary £45,000 - £50,000 + 20% bonus
I am currently working with a PE backed company looking for a Finance Assistant to come and join the team. My client is building out a new function within Group and are looking for ambitious individuals to come in and play a key role in setting up this function.
You will be reporting into a Senior Group Finance Manager and work closely with various entities across the global streamlining processes and supporting the Group.
Your duties will include but are not limited to;
* Customer setup and verification.
* Proactively process customer invoices and deal with queries.
* Setup of customer leases in the Yardi ERP.
* Deal with the administration of customer leases, including but not limited to: terminations, amendments and renewals.
* Receipting of customer invoices.
* Monthly review and reconciliation of bank book (AR side).
* Monthly closing and reporting on Accounts Receivable accounts.
* Reconciliation of customer accounts and preparing statements of account (when required).
* Chasing of late payments and periodically sending reminder letters for unpaid amounts.
* Calculation and billing of late interest.
* Assist in the preparation of VAT and Tax returns.
For this role you will be either part-qualified and working towards your qualification or qualified by experience, if you speak a second language either French, Spanish or Mandarin this would be advantageous. You will need to have done a similar role previously and have experience working with multiple ERP systems.
This role is based in the office 5 days a week
